We solve that with an all-inclusive mobile bar. One price covers the bar setup and styling, full glassware, the ice program, premium mixers, fresh-cut garnish, a printed cocktail menu, RBS-certified and $2M-insured bartenders, and complete setup and breakdown. You buy the alcohol at retail in your own name — legal in California, cheaper than a caterer's package, and unopened bottles are returnable at most stores, so over-ordering costs you nothing.
Roughly two thirds of our San Diego work is weddings, and the pattern repeats: an outdoor site with a view, no power near the bar, wind after four o'clock, and a couple who has just been quoted an alarming number by a full-service caterer. We come in all-inclusive, build a short menu the couple actually recognises, and staff so the cocktail hour does not become a queue. The remaining third is corporate — post-conference receptions during convention weeks, holiday parties, product launches, board dinners and client entertainment — run with certificates of insurance filed in advance, company invoicing, and a fast clean strike afterwards.
From Chula Vista to Carlsbad we quote travel within San Diego County as included, and we run the same setup everywhere: same glassware, same ice program, same bilingual RBS-certified bartenders. On coastal sites we plan for wind and use weighted setups and covered glassware. On ranch and estate properties we plan the driveway and the load-in path before the day. Downtown we handle the building, the freight elevator and the certificate of insurance. Nothing about the standard changes because of the postcode.
