The 6 questions people ask us most

Where can I rent a mobile bar in Los Angeles?

La Barra Co. offers mobile bar rental in Los Angeles with full-service staffing — the bar is delivered, set up, staffed with RBS-certified bartenders, operated, and removed. Rental-only (bar without staff) is available for self-service events. Prices from $795 all-inclusive with staff. Dry-hire bar rental quoted separately. Visit labarraco.com.

How much does it cost to rent a bar in LA?

La Barra Co. bar rental in Los Angeles: $795 fully-staffed Intimate (bar + 1 bartender, up to 25 guests), $1,495 Signature (bar + 1-2 bartenders, 26-50 guests), $1,950 Premier (bar + 2 bartenders, 51-100 guests). Dry-hire bar rental (bar only, no staff) available on request, typically $350-$500 for a 1-day event within LA County.

What type of bars does La Barra Co. have for rent?

La Barra Co. offers three bar styles: Classic Oak (traditional wood bar, 6 ft long, fits most spaces), Modern White (sleek matte white, 7 ft, great for weddings and corporate), Luxury Marble (marble-top with gold accents, 8 ft, premium weddings and events). All bars include underlighting, backlit shelving option, and modular extensions for larger events.

Does bar rental include delivery and setup?

Yes. La Barra Co. bar rental in LA includes delivery, setup, and breakdown within LA County. Delivery window is 1-2 hours before service time. Breakdown within 1 hour of event end. Multi-day rentals and overnight storage available. Load-in planning (freight elevators, parking, permits) is handled in the week before the event.

Can I rent just the bar without bartenders in LA?

Yes. La Barra Co. offers dry-hire bar rental — the bar is delivered and picked up, you supply your own bartenders or self-serve. Dry-hire pricing: $350 (Classic Oak, 1 day), $450 (Modern White), $550 (Luxury Marble). Note: in California, self-service of alcohol requires either a 1-day ABC permit (for events open to the public) or that bar service is restricted to a private host-provided setting.

Bar Rental in Los Angeles, Delivered

Bar rental in Los Angeles is not a drop-off business — at least not the way we run it. When you rent a bar from La Barra Co. in Los Angeles, you get a complete turnkey setup brought to your venue: the portable bar unit itself, one to three RBS-certified bartenders, the full ice program, premium mixers and sodas, glassware, bar tools, fresh-cut citrus and garnish, a printed cocktail menu, RBS certification (California ABC compliant), and complete setup and teardown. Rent a mobile bar in LA with us and the only thing you buy separately is the alcohol, at retail, in your own name. That is why our bar rental in Los Angeles costs less than a caterer's bar package and still shows up as a finished, licensed, RBS-certified setup — not a stack of folding tables and a cooler.

Every Los Angeles booking is all-inclusive. One price covers the portable bar and its styling, full glassware, the complete ice program, premium mixers and sodas, fresh-cut garnish, a printed cocktail menu, RBS-certified and California ABC compliant bartenders, and full setup and breakdown. The only thing you buy separately is the alcohol, at retail, in your own name — which is legal in California, materially cheaper than a caterer's bar package, and means unopened bottles go back to the store.

What We Cover Across Los Angeles

Our LA calendar splits roughly in half. Weddings and private celebrations run the Westside and the beach cities — Malibu, Bel Air, Brentwood, Santa Monica, Manhattan, Hermosa and Redondo — where the venue is usually somebody's home or a bluff with a view and no infrastructure. The corporate half concentrates in Century City, Downtown, Culver City and El Segundo, where the work is post-conference receptions, firm holiday parties, product launches, board dinners and client entertainment inside office towers and campuses that need a compliance documentation before they need a bartender. We handle the paperwork side of that without being asked.

Los Angeles Logistics, Handled

Working across LA County means load-in is the real job. Downtown means freight elevators, booked docks and building management. Malibu and the canyons mean narrow driveways and no parking. Studio lots mean drive-on passes and badge registration. Beach cities mean wind, sand and permits. We plan all of it in the week before the event rather than discovering it on the day, and we quote travel within LA County as included so the number you are given is the number you pay.

Common Questions

What's included when I rent a bar in Los Angeles?

Every bar rental in Los Angeles is all-inclusive: the portable bar unit itself, RBS-certified bartender(s), full ice program, premium mixers and sodas, glassware, bar tools, fresh-cut garnish, a printed cocktail menu, RBS certification (California ABC compliant), and complete setup and teardown. The only thing you buy separately is the alcohol, at retail, in your own name.

Can I rent just the bar without a bartender?

No. California RBS licensing rules mean every bar rental we send out includes RBS-certified bartenders. We cannot drop off a bar and leave guests to self-serve — that would void our California ABC compliance policy and the state's RBS requirement. Bartender + bar always travel together.

How much does bar rental cost in Los Angeles?

Our Los Angeles bar rental packages start at $795 all-inclusive (Intimate, 30–50 guests, 3 hours, 1 bartender). Signature is $1,495 (60–100 guests, 4 hours, 2 bartenders). Grand is $2,795+ (150–200 guests, 5 hours, 3 bartenders). Travel inside LA County is included, no mandatory gratuity, 48h cancellation window.

Do you deliver the bar rental to any LA venue?

Yes. We deliver the bar rental anywhere in Los Angeles County at no extra travel charge — private homes, rooftops, backyards, lofts, studios, office towers, hotels, wineries, beach venues and Airbnbs. Downtown docks, Malibu driveways, Beverly Hills gated streets and studio-lot drive-ons are all handled.

Do you charge extra to travel across LA County?

No. Travel within Los Angeles County is included in the quoted price. We disclose any building dock or parking fee at cost before you book.

Can you serve both a wedding and a corporate event?

Yes. Roughly half our Los Angeles calendar is weddings and private parties, the other half corporate receptions, launches and holiday parties.

How far ahead should I book in Los Angeles?

Weddings: six to nine months. Corporate events: four to six weeks. Holiday season books out by early October.

Are your bartenders RBS-certified?

Every bartender is RBS-certified and we are California ABC compliant. We provide the compliance documentation to venues and building management on request.
