A full-service bar catering crew that drives from Newport Coast to San Clemente, follows California ABC rules, and knows which Pelican Hill service entrance to use. Mixologists, not caterers upcharging you per pour.
Orange County weddings are not Los Angeles weddings in miniature. They happen on bluffs with onshore wind at 15 knots, inside Mediterranean-style estate venues with four separate motor courts, in oceanfront ballrooms that double as public hotel space, and in backyards from Yorba Linda to Dana Point where the venue is also where the couple's parents live. The bar has to survive all of those, which is a very different problem from pouring prosecco inside a downtown hotel. We built our OC wedding operation around three realities that catering teams and in-house hotel bars tend to under-price: coastal climate, estate logistics, and the dry-hire math.
The climate matters because an outdoor OC wedding in July is not the same drink order as one in January. Afternoon receptions on the Newport Coast run 20 degrees warmer than inside the ballroom, which doubles ice consumption and pushes guests toward spritzes, palomas, and anything on the rocks before the sun drops behind Catalina. We plan ice and glassware around that, not around a generic headcount.
Estate logistics is the other reality. Montage Laguna, Pelican Hill, Monarch Beach, Hotel Laguna — these venues all accept outside bar vendors on a pre-approved compliance paperwork basis, but each one has a specific service entrance, a specific setup window, and a specific list of what you can and cannot park where. We've worked them enough times that this is handled before the contract gets signed, not on the morning of.
Then there's the math. A full-service hosted bar at a Newport Coast resort typically quotes between $85 and $120 per guest. Our dry-hire model — you buy the alcohol at retail, in your name, with unopened bottles returnable — brings a 120-guest OC wedding in between $18 and $32 per guest, all in. Same drinks, same mixologists, same glassware. The difference is the catering markup you aren't paying.
We're pre-approved at the resorts and estate properties that handle most of Orange County's wedding calendar, which means your compliance paperwork goes in once and never gets rejected on a technicality.
Three all-inclusive tiers. Each one covers the mobile bar, premium mixers, full glassware, the ice program, fresh-cut garnish, a printed cocktail menu, RBS-certified bartenders, and complete setup and breakdown. The alcohol is the only thing you buy separately — at retail, in your name — which is the entire reason this costs less than a resort's in-house bar package.
Travel inside Orange County is included in every wedding quote. These are the markets most of our OC calendar runs through:
Every OC wedding booking is a full-service bar catering engagement — no "bartender only" rentals, no equipment surcharges disclosed on the day. The number on your quote is the number on your invoice.
Yes. We've worked Crystal Cove, Salt Creek, Doheny State Beach, and private Laguna coves. California State Parks and city-run beaches require an alcohol permit from the local parks department (usually 30–60 days ahead); we help you file it. Sand delivery is the real logistics issue — we bring a plywood bar base so the setup stays level and doesn't sink.
Most OC cities (Newport Beach, Laguna, Dana Point, Irvine) impose amplified-sound curfews between 10pm and midnight, with earlier cutoffs for outdoor residential events. Bar service itself can continue — we just coordinate last call with the DJ shutoff. If you've booked past midnight at an estate venue, we add a late-service surcharge disclosed upfront, never added after.
Private estates and resorts in Newport Coast and Laguna Beach almost always require advance vendor registration and a specific service entrance. We handle vendor compliance paperwork submission, driver's license pre-approval, and arrive 90 minutes before guests for load-in. Valet-only properties get a bar cart dolly system so we don't block the motor court.
Our three wedding packages ($795 / $1,495 / $2,795) are the same across LA and OC — travel inside Orange County is included. The real cost difference versus a hotel bar package shows up on your invoice: a resort bar at Montage or Pelican Hill typically quotes $85–$120 per guest on a hosted-bar basis; our dry-hire model lands most 120-guest weddings between $18 and $32 per guest, all in.
Yes. We carry California ABC compliance and California ABC compliance. The compliance paperwork is issued in the venue's name on request and sent the same business day — we've been pre-approved by Montage Laguna, Resort at Pelican Hill, Pasea Hotel, Lido House, Hotel Laguna, Casino San Clemente, and most Newport Beach private estates.
Tell us the venue and the guest count and you will have a real price the same day — not a brochure, not a callback next week.
