Bay-front estates, harbor-side yacht clubs, Balboa Peninsula beach houses. Newport hosts expect the best — and we deliver it.
Newport Beach may be the most concentrated luxury-event market in Southern California. From Corona del Mar cliffside estates to Lido Isle waterfront homes to Balboa yacht clubs, every venue comes with a set of expectations. Our founder personally scouts every Newport venue before your event.
Newport clients pay for a specific standard: bartenders who look the part, ingredients from names you recognize, service that never rushes. That's what we bring. We are not a discount option in Newport — we're the founding-client-rate option that still meets Newport-level standards.
Our dry-hire model was built for Newport Beach hosts who want great cocktails without the 300% catering markup on liquor. You buy the alcohol at retail (many stores accept returns on unopened bottles), and we bring the bartenders, portable bar setup, premium mixers, fresh garnish, ice program, glassware and menu design. Everything except the bottles.
We cover every part of Newport Beach and the surrounding communities. Some of the neighborhoods where we've been quoting or booking:
Newport Beach's venue mix has specific realities — parking, elevator access, HOA rules, load-in windows. We've built our kit and playbook around them. Common Newport Beach venue types:

These are our launch-phase founding client rates — genuinely below what established competitors charge, reflective of the fact we're building our Newport Beach calendar right now. Use our instant quote calculator for a personalized number.
Yes. We handle the ferry logistics and residential parking constraints unique to island events in Newport.
Case by case — send us the vessel details. On-water events require slightly different equipment.
For member private events where outside vendors are permitted, yes.
Long private driveways and hillside setups are common — we build 30 extra minutes into the timeline. No stress on your end.
Founding client rates start at $695 for Intimate — 30 to 50 guests, three hours. Signature is $1,195 for 75 to 100 guests across four hours; Grand is $2,395 for 150 to 200 guests over five hours. From a Balboa Island cottage to a Newport Coast estate, the instant quote calculator on our site prices your date in about a minute.
Bartenders, the portable bar, premium mixers, fresh garnish, a full ice program, glassware, menu design, and complete setup and breakdown. Alcohol is yours to purchase. For Corona del Mar backyards and Lido Isle patios where space is genuinely tight, we scale the bar footprint to the site rather than forcing a full build into it.
You buy the alcohol at retail under your own name, and we handle everything else. California ABC law prohibits us from purchasing, selling or transporting liquor. We send a precise bottle list so you can shop near Fashion Island or Westcliff and have it waiting at your Newport Heights or Dover Shores address before our team arrives.
For 120 guests over four to five hours, plan roughly 36 to 45 bottles across spirits, wine and sparkling. Newport crowds tend to drink more wine and sparkling than the county average, so we shift the ratio accordingly. Once your menu is final we send an itemized list — quantity, size and category, nothing vague or left to guesswork.
Yes. Most California retailers take back sealed, unopened bottles with your receipt, so buying a comfortable margin costs you very little. We keep unopened inventory boxed and clean during service and hand it back counted at breakdown. Harbor View Hills and Big Canyon hosts routinely return a case or more the following week.
No. California ABC requires no license for a private party where alcohol is free to guests — a permit is only necessary if alcohol is sold. That covers residential events across Balboa Peninsula, Newport Heights and Corona del Mar under dry hire. Yacht clubs and private clubs set their own house rules, which we confirm with them directly.
Often, yes. Several Newport Beach yacht clubs and private clubs permit a supplemental bar alongside their own service, usually with an approved vendor packet and a certificate of insurance naming the club as additional insured. We handle that paperwork. Send us the club's contact and we will confirm what they allow before you commit to a date.
Yes. Every bartender holds RBS certification, required in California since July 2022, and we carry a $2 million liability policy. We issue certificates of insurance naming your venue as additional insured at no charge — standard for Newport Coast HOAs, Fashion Island corporate spaces and harbor clubs that need documentation before load-in day.
One bartender per 50 to 75 guests, moving toward one per 50 with a full cocktail program. Beyond roughly 150 guests we add a second service point and a third bartender; beyond 200 we add a barback. At Newport Coast estates with terraced yards, a second bar on the lower level usually serves better than a third bartender at one station.
It takes planning. Island residential parking is scarce, ferry timing constrains arrival, and the carry from the nearest legal spot can be long. We arrive earlier for island addresses and coordinate an unloading window with you in advance. Tell us your street and we will tell you exactly where our team needs to stage the equipment.
About 90 minutes in and 45 minutes out for a standard build. Newport Coast estates with long driveways and hillside terrace setups add roughly 30 minutes to load-in, and we schedule for it. We ask for parking or driveway access reasonably close to the bar position, or a clear path the property manager has already approved.
No. We run fully self-contained — no outlet, no hose, no sink — arriving with our own water and a sealed insulated ice program. That matters on Balboa Peninsula patios and Dover Shores docks where the nearest hookup is inside the house. If power is available for bar lighting we will use it, but the service never depends on it.
Yes. Office receptions, client dinners, product launches and holiday parties around Fashion Island and the Newport Center offices are a regular part of our calendar. We invoice cleanly for accounting, provide the certificate of insurance building management requires, and design a menu with a strong zero-proof list — which matters more at work events than at weddings.
Yes. We design two to four signature drinks with you and build a full zero-proof list using fresh citrus, house syrups and real glassware. Menus print in English and Spanish. Coastal Newport events tend toward bright, crisp, low-sugar drinks. Our team serves guests 21 and over only and checks identification at the bar, without exception.
