Hire an RBS-certified bartender in OC — birthday parties in Newport Coast, product launches in Irvine, holiday dinners in Costa Mesa. Bartender-only or full mobile bar. Dry hire. All-inclusive from $795.
Orange County has its own operating rules, and the people who book us learn them the hard way the first time. Three realities make OC a different market than Los Angeles for private bartender hire: the HOA layer in gated communities, the vendor-registration gatekeeping at resort venues, and the Fashion Island/Spectrum restaurant privates that run as "bring your own bar" even though the room is inside a restaurant. We built an OC-specific checklist around those three.
HOAs first. Shady Canyon, Pelican Crest, Harbor Island, Nellie Gail, and most of Yorba Linda's gated communities require vendor registration 48 hours ahead with license-plate photos and sometimes a $100-ish deposit the HOA holds until breakdown. We handle this before you ask. If you book a bartender for a Shady Canyon residence and nobody filed with the gate, nobody gets in — we have seen it happen to other crews on a Friday night.
Resort properties are the second layer. Montage Laguna, Resort at Pelican Hill, Monarch Beach, Hotel Laguna, Lido House, Pasea — each one has an outside-vendor approval process, a specific service entrance (not the valet), and a specific compliance paperwork format they want. We are pre-approved at all of these; the compliance paperwork is on file. For first-time properties we file 72 hours ahead so there is no scramble on the morning of.
The restaurant-private layer is the quiet one. Fashion Island, South Coast Plaza, Spectrum Center and plenty of standalone OC restaurants have private dining rooms that technically have a bar but will let a private host bring in an outside bartender and alcohol for a flat room fee. The math is dramatic — a $120-per-head catering bar at a restaurant private usually drops to $25–$35 per head when you bring the bartender and the bottles. If your private room is one of these, we tell you upfront.
We are pre-approved or have active bookings at the OC properties below. The compliance paperwork is already on file at most of them.
Three all-inclusive tiers. Every tier includes the bartenders, the glassware program, the ice program, premium mixers, fresh-cut garnish, a printed cocktail menu, setup and breakdown, and the California ABC compliantCOI on request. Add the mobile bar if your venue doesn't have one. Alcohol is the only line you buy separately — retail, in your name — which is the entire reason this costs less than a hotel bar package.
Travel inside Orange County is included in every quote. The cities below are the heart of our OC calendar:
Every OC bartender-for-hire booking is a full-service engagement — nothing disclosed on invoice day that wasn't on the quote. The number you see is the number you pay.
Yes. If your venue already has a bar (Pelican Hill suite, Lido House rooftop, a Shady Canyon residence with a built-in wet bar) we can send a bartender-only crew with glassware, mixers, garnish and the ice program — the bar is on you. The Intimate package starts at $795 for 30–50 guests over three hours.
Every bartender on an OC booking carries a current California RBS (Responsible Beverage Service) certification. Our bartenders are RBS-certified and we follow California ABC rules, and we provide COIs in the venue's name on request — same business day. We've been pre-approved by Montage Laguna, Resort at Pelican Hill, Hotel Laguna, Lido House, and most Newport Coast private estates.
You do. That is the entire dry-hire model and the reason this costs less than a hotel bar package. California law lets the private host buy alcohol at retail in their own name; we bring the bar, bartenders, ice, glassware, mixers and garnish. Unopened bottles go back to Total Wine or BevMo after the event.
Newport Coast, Shady Canyon and Pelican Crest almost all require vendor pre-registration 48 to 72 hours ahead, with a specific service entrance and driver's license on file. We handle this before you ask. Valet-only properties get a bar-cart dolly so we don't block the motor court.
Yes. OC corporate dinners (Fashion Island restaurant privates, Spectrum Center boardrooms, Irvine Business Complex office receptions) are a weekly piece of our calendar. Short notice is fine if we have crew availability — text the date and we confirm or decline within the hour, 9am–9pm PT.
Tell us the venue, the headcount and the date and you will have a real price the same day — not a brochure, not a callback next week.
