Bilingual bartenders for Whittier hillside backyards, Uptown venues and the big family celebrations in between.
Whittier splits neatly into two kinds of events for us. Up in the Friendly Hills and the streets above Colima there are hillside backyards with a view, where the wedding is a hundred and forty people and the ceremony happens on the same lawn as the reception. Down in Uptown there are historic buildings, restaurant back rooms and the graduation and fundraiser crowd. Both get the same bar, the same bilingual team and the same all-inclusive price.
Hillside properties come with their own puzzle — narrow driveways, stairs, and a load-in that has to happen before the guests arrive. We walk it in advance rather than discovering it on the day. Everything we bring is designed to move in pieces and assemble into a bar that looks like it was always there, which matters when the backdrop is the whole San Gabriel Valley at sunset and the photographer is already circling.
Whittier families also book us for the quieter occasions that still deserve a proper bar — a 50th anniversary dinner for eighty, a retirement party, a christening reception in a parish hall on a Sunday afternoon. Those run on the $695 or $1,195 package and get exactly the same crew, the same glassware and the same bilingual service as a two-hundred-guest wedding. Nothing about the standard changes with the size of the room.
These are the Whittier spaces and property types we work most often. If yours is not listed we almost certainly still cover it — send us the address and we will confirm access, power and load-in before you book.
May and June in Whittier belong to graduation parties, and those behave differently than weddings: guests arrive in waves across an afternoon rather than all at once, families overlap, and the bar has to stay pleasant for six hours instead of peaking for two. We staff accordingly. For weddings we run the standard playbook — three bartenders past a hundred and fifty guests, a scaled ice program, a second service point, and a menu of two signature cocktails plus a house margarita, beer, wine and a real zero-proof option. Everything is included: bar, glassware, ice, mixers, garnish, printed menus, setup and breakdown. Adults only, 21+, carded at the bar.
All-inclusive pricing for Whittier events — precios todo incluido. You supply the alcohol at retail; we bring everything else. Gratuity is appreciated but never required and never added to your invoice.
These are founding client rates — deliberately below what established Whittier bar services charge, because we are building our calendar right now. Request your exact number in under a minute.
Every Whittier booking is all-inclusive. One price, one vendor, nothing to rent separately:
The only thing you buy separately is the alcohol — at retail, in your name, with unopened bottles returnable at most California stores. That is the entire reason our Whittier clients spend less than they would on a caterer's or a hall's bar package.
“La graduación de mi hijo fue de 130 personas y llegaron por tandas toda la tarde. Los bartenders aguantaron seis horas con la misma sonrisa. Bilingües, puntuales, impecables.”
Yes. Tell us about the driveway, stairs and where you want the bar and we confirm the load-in plan before you book — we would rather solve it in advance than on the day.
Every spring. They run long and arrive in waves, so we staff and ice for six hours rather than a two-hour peak.
Yes — English and Spanish at the bar, with menus printed in either language or both.
Tell us the date and the guest count and you will have a real price the same day — not a brochure, not a callback next week.
