The full answer

Four to eight weeks is ideal for weekend dates, and that matters most from May through October, which is peak season in Southern California.

Weekday events and off-season dates are usually comfortable with two to three weeks' notice. We do accept last-minute bookings when the calendar allows, and we have delivered on a few days' notice, but your drink menu options narrow — custom menu cards and specialty ingredients need lead time.

For weddings specifically, book as soon as you have the venue and the date. Wedding Saturdays between May and October are the first dates to disappear from our calendar every year.
